A smooth and gut-friendly substitute for conventional carbonated drinks, Her2o is a gluten-free, non-carbonated alcoholic beverage that contains probiotics, electrolytes, and no artificial sweeteners. Her2o, a refreshingly light beverage, was developed to appeal to young adults who are health-conscious and want to blend social drinking with wellbeing.
Her2o began as a project for my Marquette University entrepreneurship class, motivated by my own experiences with acid reflux from carbonated beverages. I was able to combine my love of marketing with my knowledge of wellness and health trends thanks to this initiative. The objective was to develop a beverage that would satisfy the demands of women in their mid-20s who are looking for a social drink that is low in calories and not carbonated. Identifying target customers, researching rivals, and creating a marketing plan specifically for this market were all part of our brief. From brainstorming to creating a brand identity and market strategy, the project took eight weeks to complete.
A thorough brand pitch deck comprising market research, consumer insights, product positioning, and a launch strategy was the end result. Interviews with college students, and recent graduates provided insightful input that shaped the goals of my brand and the characteristics of my products. The significance of market segmentation, comprehension of customer behavior, and the necessity of creative marketing strategies to successfully raise brand awareness were among the main lessons learned. Through this project, I learned the importance of creating a memorable brand experience and the importance of precisely matching product features to consumer preferences.
